Job Description
We are looking for a 2+ year litigation attorney to join a boutique law firm in Central Phoenix, Arizona. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work in the office one to two days each week while handling the remainder of your schedule remotely. The role is well suited for a licensed Arizona attorney who enjoys sophisticated litigation work, and values a supportive team environment with a healthy balance between work demands and personal time.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution.
• Prepare persuasive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other court filings with a high standard of accuracy and legal analysis.
• Oversee all phases of discovery, including drafting written discovery, evaluating responses, and coordinating document production.
• Represent clients in hearings, negotiations, mediations, and other litigation-related proceedings.
• Develop case strategies that align with client objectives, business considerations, and procedural requirements.
• Maintain and expand a portable book of business while contributing to the firm’s continued growth through client relationship development.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move matters forward efficiently and deliver strong client service.
• Active license to practice law in Arizona.
• At least 2 years of litigation experience, with some exposure to civil and commercial disputes.
• Ability to draft motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings independently.
• Some working knowledge of discovery practice, case strategy, and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written advocacy, oral communication, and client management skills.
• Ability to succeed in a hybrid work setting while effectively managing deadlines and billable expectations
