  • The Offsite Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for Nuclear Lab operation, including testing equipment, educating patients and families regarding the procedures, and performing the procedures in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures and standards.

    \n Job Requirements\n

  • 1 year experience as a Nuclear Tech
    • \n
  • Associate Degree required, Bachelor degree preferred
    • \n
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • \n
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
    • \n

    \n Schedule Information\n
    \n
  • 3 shifts a week M-F flexible
    • \n
  • 9AM - 5PM shift
    • \n
  • 7 hours per day
    • \n
  • 22.5 hours per week
    • \n
\n
    \n
    \n Additional Details\n

  • Patient education, patient care, dose administration, dose calculations, quality control procedures
    • \n
  • Research assistance, imaging technologies, radiation safety, troubleshooting, computer processing, data archiving
    • \n
  • Radioactive material handling, regulatory compliance, patient data assessment, radioactive material studies
    • \n
  • Radiation measurement, radiation safety advising, hazard warning, reactor operation
    • \n
  • Equipment evaluation, performance adjustment, nuclear waste management
