CT Technologist Requirements: \n
\n

\n
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology and/or NMTCB (CNMT) registered and documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams required.
\n
• Advanced level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography required within one year of hire date.
\n
• Minimum of three months experience in CT Scan
\n
• American Heart Association CPR required.
\n

\n
CT/X-Ray (Hybrid) Technologist Requirements: \n
\n

\n
• Completion of accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.
\n
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology with documented training on the provision of diagnostic CT exams required
\n
• Advanced level certification by the ARRT or NMTCB in computed tomography required within one year of hire date
\n
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License is required for all outpatient facilities.
\n
• American Heart Association CPR required
\n

Physical Requirements: Constant (67-100% of workday) use of arms and hands; frequent (34-66% of workday) standing, walking, sitting; occasional (0-33% of workday) bending and squatting; ability to lift 35 lbs.; ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.; auditory and visual skills to include color determination\n

Mental Requirements: Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. Capacity to cope with difficult situations. Ability to tolerate irregular hours including evenings, nights, and weekends. \n

Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards: Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals. Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. \n

\nFor MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times. \n
