Coalesce Management Consulting is supporting a major data center developer on the delivery of a new campus expansion in Michigan.

\n

\n

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our consultancy team and embed directly within the client's owner-side project team. This is a unique opportunity to become involved during the earliest stages of project development, helping shape strategy, planning, and execution before major construction activities commence.

\n

\n

The successful consultant will play a key role in establishing the project, influencing delivery strategy, and ultimately acting as a lead owner-side representative throughout the construction lifecycle.

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Act as a senior member of the owner-side delivery team.
\n
• Support project setup and mobilisation activities.
\n
• Participate in contractor selection, RFP reviews, and interview processes.
\n
• Attend design and coordination meetings.
\n
• Review design documentation and provide constructability input.
\n
• Assist with project charter development and execution planning.
\n
• Support pull-planning and schedule development activities.
\n
• Manage and coordinate contractors throughout construction.
\n
• Drive project delivery, schedule adherence, and site performance.
\n
• Interface with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
\n
• Provide leadership and mentorship as the project team expands.
\n

Required Experience

• Experience delivering projects from preconstruction through execution.

• Strong understanding of construction planning and project controls.
\n
• Ability to operate autonomously within a fast-paced project environment.
