\n 📆 Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description:
\n• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit during night shifts
\n • Work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) caring for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
\n • Perform maternal and fetal assessments, monitor labor progression, administer medications, and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
\n • Provide newborn stabilization and demonstrate strong nursery care skills
\n • Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes
\n • Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery clinical experience required
\n • Prior travel nursing experience required
\n • Active New York RN license required at the time of submission
\n • Required Certifications:

- BLS \n
- NRP \n
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification (completed within the past 2 years)
\n • Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
\n • Candidates with a primary residence in the following New York counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
\n • Strong fetal monitoring, labor management, newborn care, critical thinking, communication, and emergency response skills required
\n • Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to hospital standards and best practices \n
