Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Whitesboro, New York

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Proficient in emergency care protocols, triage, and rapid patient assessment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and multiple tasks efficiently
• Comfortable with electronic health record systems and documentation standards

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in the ER
• Rapidly triage patients based on their clinical presentation and acuity
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and operate medical equipment as required
• Observe and accurately record patient responses, symptoms, and progress
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Participate in emergency response and code situations as needed
