- Unit: ICCU - MSCC (MedSurg Concentrated Care)
\n - # beds: 10 with swing bed capacity. Bed population mix can vary depending on census.
\n - Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred), NIHSS
\n - Ratios: 1:2, 1:3 Stepdown, swing beds.
\n - EMR: Cerner
\n - Charge Nurse: Yes, generally does not take patients, but will do break relief.
\n - Nurse Aides: Yes as census and staffing dictates
\n - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
\n - Holidays: Rotate in with core staff
\n - Scrub Color: Navy - under shirts must be navy, white, or black. Scrub jackets are optional, must be navy.
\n - Tele: Yes, must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.
\n - Vents: Yes
