American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position in Virginia, working night shifts with every other weekend required.

Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a valid Compact RN license
  • \n
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • \n
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • \n
  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care preferred
  • \n
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • \n
  • Ability to lead a team while delivering resident-centered care
  • \n
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
  • \n
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in accordance with individualized resident care plans
  • \n
  • Supervise, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to LPNs and CNAs
  • \n
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
  • \n
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions
  • \n
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
  • \n
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care planning meetings
  • \n
  • All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
  • \n
