American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position in Virginia, working night shifts with every other weekend required.

- Long-term care (LTC) facility setting \n
- Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts) \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- \n
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a valid Compact RN license \n
- Current BLS/CPR certification \n
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing \n
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care preferred \n
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills \n
- Ability to lead a team while delivering resident-centered care \n
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years \n
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained \n

- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in accordance with individualized resident care plans \n
- Supervise, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to LPNs and CNAs \n
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care \n
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and initiate appropriate clinical interventions \n
- Complete timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record \n
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care planning meetings \n
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration \n
