Travel Pay Rate: $2300 weekly ($17/hr w2 + $1620/week stipend)
\nLocal Pay Rate: $43/hr on w2
\nJob Summary
\n Seeking an experienced DEXA Technologist to perform bone density (DEXA) examinations in an adult outpatient setting. The technologist will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety, following radiation safety protocols, and delivering excellent patient care. This position is dedicated to bone density imaging and does not require general X-ray duties.
Responsibilities

- Perform DEXA (bone density) examinations accurately and efficiently. \n
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for bone density procedures. \n
- Operate and maintain GE DEXA equipment. \n
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety, infection prevention, and PPE protocols. \n
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submission. \n
- Document patient information and imaging procedures in Epic. \n
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant imaging environment. \n
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide quality patient care. \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Current, proficient DEXA (Bone Density) exam experience (required). \n
- Active ARRT RT(R) certification. \n
- Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license. \n
- Current BLS certification. \n
- Experience working in an adult outpatient imaging setting. \n
- Knowledge of radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions/PPE. \n
- Experience with GE DEXA equipment preferred. \n
- ARRT Bone Densitometry certification preferred but not required. \n
- First-time travelers accepted. \n
