Job Description:
\n Position Summary:
\n Performs general nuclear medicine examinations, including on call services, therapeutic procedures and PET/CT patient exams in a hospital based, acute care environment.

\n Minimum Qualifications:
\n - Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited program or equivalent.
\n - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in nuclear medicine or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
\n - American Heart Association BLS
\n - Preferred: One (1) year post-graduate work experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist

\n Essential Job Functions:
\n In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.

\n - Performs nuclear medicine quality control measures, patient exams and procedures as requested by the medical staff.
\n - Assists the Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
\n - Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing and archival of exams and procedures
\n - Completes documentation for all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving and retrieval of exams.
\n - Verifies written/electronic orders and related health information to insure the timely performance and reporting of NM exams and procedures.
\n - Participates in the implementation, monitoring and improvement of the hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan.
\n - Completes appropriate documentation for the administration, receipt/return, decay and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance for state and/or federal regulations.

\n - Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times
\n - Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality
\n - Performs essential job functions successfully in a busy and stressful environment
\n - Learns current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health
\n - Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
\n - Analyzes, organizes, and prioritizes work while meeting multiple deadlines

\n Schedule Requirements
\n - This role requires regular and sustained attendance.
\n - The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
\n - On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs.

Patterns Hiring Job ID #298413-0814. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
