American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of OB experience.

- Work is performed in an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) unit within a hospital setting \n
- Nurses rotate through all roles including Labor, Triage, and Postpartum/Mother-Baby care \n
- Postpartum patient ratio is 3–4 couplets; Labor ratio is 1–2 patients \n
- Schedule is 4x12-hour night shifts (18:30–07:00) \n
- Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required \n
- On-call hours are required based on staffing needs, typically averaging 16–20 hours per 6-week schedule \n
- Epic EMR experience is required \n
- Local candidates will not be considered \n

- Active RN license — Maryland (MD) or Compact license required \n
- Current certifications required: NRP, AWHONN, and FHM \n
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required \n
- OB surgical recovery (C-section) experience highly preferred \n
- Epic EMR proficiency required \n
- Two professional references required for consideration \n
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration \n

- Nurses rotate between Labor, Triage, and Postpartum/Mother-Baby responsibilities as part of standard unit staffing \n
- Staff may opt to pick up one extra weekend shift and one extra weekday shift in lieu of traditional on-call hours \n
