Job Description
Pay Rate: $19.00–$24.00/hour (Based on experience)
Position Type: Temporary Assignment (1–2 months) with potential for long-term hire
Openings Available: 2
Anticipated Start Date: July 13, 2026
We are seeking dependable General Laborers to assist with a variety of construction and electrical support tasks at job sites throughout the Red River Valley. This is a great opportunity for individuals with construction experience who enjoy working outdoors, performing hands-on work, and being part of a team. Electrical experience is a plus but is not required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Perform general site preparation, including shoveling and cleanup
- Assist crews with ground wire installation
- Load, unload, and move materials and supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Provide support to construction and electrical crews as needed
- Operate a skid steer if qualified (not required)
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various job sites throughout the Red River Valley
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Previous construction experience preferred
- Electrical experience is a plus but not required
- Skid steer experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and shovel throughout the workday
- Ability to frequently lift 50–60 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Hours may vary depending on job site location and project needs
- Long pants required (no shorts)
- No cutoff shirts
- Safety-toe boots required
- All other required PPE will be provided
- Initial safety orientation provided upon placement
- Additional safety training may be required for certain job sites
This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately 1–2 months. Outstanding performers may be considered for permanent employment opportunities based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
