Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for a Long-Term Care position in Vestal, NY, requiring at least 1 year of LTC/SNF supervisory experience and an active NY RN license.

• State/government-run long-term care facility offering rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care services
\n
• 300-bed facility with a patient ratio of 1:18–20
\n
• Patient population includes residents with Alzheimer's and dementia
\n
• Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM–3:45 PM), Monday through Friday schedule
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• 16-week contract
\n
• Charting system: PointClickCare (PCC); prior experience not required
\n
• No medication pass responsibilities
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NY State RN license required; no license encumbrances or hits allowed
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• Minimum 1 year of RN Supervisor experience in an LTC or SNF setting required
\n
• Candidates with recent experience in rehab, med/surg, or hospital settings will also be considered
\n
• Proof of NY RN license required at time of consideration
\n

• This is an RN Supervisor role, not a staff nurse position

• Solid-color scrubs and closed-toe shoes required

• Compliance process takes approximately 1.5–2 weeks

• Upon offer acceptance, Relias training modules will be sent via email within 48 hours and must be completed no later than 3 days prior to the assignment start date

• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be approved after an offer is made

• Shift cannot be changed once an offer has been accepted

• Cannot take every holiday off; some holiday coverage is required

• Call-outs must be given with more than 24 hours advance notice
