American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Chattanooga, TN, requiring at least 1 year of ICU/PACU experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

- 16-bed PACU unit staffed exclusively by RNs with no unit secretaries or techs \n
- 1:2 patient ratio \n
- Bedside monitors and A-lines are the primary equipment used \n
- Documentation system: Meditech \n
- 12-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with call rotations \n
- No floating required \n
- \n
- Active TN or compact RN license required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date) \n
- Minimum 2 years of PACU or ICU experience required \n
- ICU skill set required \n
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration \n
- One professional reference required \n
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months \n

- Anesthesia leads intubation procedures; RNs provide supportive care during the process \n
- OAS CAHPS patient experience standards are observed on this unit \n
- CCRN and CAPA certifications are preferred but not required \n
- Navy blue scrubs required \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible \n
- This is a 13-week travel assignment \n
