Job Title: Tool & Die Maintenance Technician

Location: Oxford, MI (On-site)

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Oxford, MI. If you have a strong background in tool and die making, progressive die maintenance, and metal stamping, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

\n
• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and sharpen progressive, compound, and stage dies.
\n
• Perform preventive maintenance on tooling to maximize production efficiency.
\n
• Respond to pressroom tooling issues and minimize equipment downtime.
\n
• Operate toolroom equipment including manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, radial drills, and hand tools.
\n
• Fabricate or modify die components to print specifications.
\n
• Inspect stamped parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and strip layouts.
\n
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 3–5+ years of experience in Die Maintenance or Tool & Die Making in a metal stamping environment.
\n
• Experience working with progressive dies (highly preferred).
\n
• Proficiency with manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and other toolroom equipment.
\n
• Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills.
\n
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
\n
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.
\n
