Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs looking to make a difference in patient care while enjoying the vibrant community of Chattanooga, TN.
\nUnit Specifics:
\n- \n
- Number of Beds: 9 \n
- Patient Ratios: 2:1 and 3:1 \n
- Unit Staffing Description: All RN staff \n
- Type of Equipment: Ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, GE monitors \n
- Documentation System: Meditech \n
Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling with manager oversight, including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule.
\nFloating Policy: All staff (including Travel RNs) are required to float as needed for critical staffing needs in Med-Surg or ED.
\nPatient Experience Requirements: AIDET, BSSR (Bedside shift report), Press Ganey goals >75%.
\nHiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

- Must Have: ICU experience (>2 years), teamwork skills, New Grad RN support. \n
- Advanced Skills Needed: Ventilator, IV Drip titration, Arterial Line management. \n
Procedures Performed on Unit: Intubation, Central Line insertions, Art Line insertions.
\nCertifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
\nDress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs.
\nUnit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines.
\nAwards/Recognition: Candidates are encouraged to inquire about any outstanding department/team awards and recognition.
\nAdditional Information: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, and schedule options to entice prospective candidates.
