Loan Administrative Assistant

Peoples National Bank is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Loan Administrative Assistant to assist with commercial and mortgage loan activities. This role supports the Community Bank President, Mortgage Loan Officers, and internal teams to help provide a smooth, timely, and professional loan experience for customers.

What You’ll Do

Assist with commercial loan origination, renewals, and related support tasks.

Support Mortgage Loan Officers with residential real estate loan applications.

Review loan documents and help prepare complete, accurate loan packages.

Keep loan workflow, pipeline reports, and tracking tools organized and up to date.

Communicate with customers and provide timely follow-up throughout the loan process.

Work closely with internal teams, including credit, processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing, and secondary market staff.

Support business development, marketing activities, customer relationship management, and community relationship-building.

Schedule appointments, organize meetings, and assist with presentations or business-related events.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products.

Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Ability to handle confidential documents and sensitive information professionally.

Knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures, or the ability to learn them.

Ability to learn and follow laws and regulations related to loan support responsibilities.
