Warrenton Woods is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for 12-hour nursing shifts. This is a great opportunity for an LPN who enjoys hands-on resident care, teamwork, and making a real impact in a skilled nursing setting.
Available shift options are 7a to 7p and 7p to 7a. The team can review the exact schedule during the interview.

About the LPN Role
As an LPN, you’ll provide hands-on resident care, administer medications and treatments, document clinical updates, monitor changes in condition, and communicate with RNs, CNAs, and nursing leadership.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct the daily activities of certified nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, and established facility policies and procedures.
- Follow the nursing model to promote holistic care for residents.
- Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed by assigned nursing personnel.
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and resident transfers as needed.
- Assess changes in resident status, notify the physician and resident’s family or representative, and document changes appropriately.
- Transcribe physician orders to the medical record and carry out orders as written.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Support a resident-focused environment built on communication, teamwork, and quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state.
- Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but not required.
