Our client, an established leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be an integral part of the Quality Department supporting the maintenance and inspection of aerospace components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $25

Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 4:00PM

What's the Job?

  • Inspect outgoing components, subassemblies, and in-process items to ensure quality and conformity.
  • Perform quality systems and organizational audits to verify compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor shop floor activities and technicians to ensure adherence to quality protocols.
  • Prepare Inspection and Non-Conformance Reports accurately and promptly.
  • Conduct warranty investigations and document processes as required.

What's Needed?

  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in FAA Repair Station Part 145 environment.
  • Knowledgeable with FAA Regulations & the Quality Maintenance System.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, directives, service bulletins, and advisory directives.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet company objectives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • FAA A&P License is required.
  • Experience with Quantum Operating Software is a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and perform bending and overhead lifting tasks.
