Our client, an established and expanding organization in the aviation industry, is seeking a Aircraft Component Technician to join their team. As a Aircraft Component Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the FAA 145 Repair Station. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Aircraft Component Technician

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $22 - $27

Shift: 630am - 3pm

What's the Job?

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble, and test aircraft components in accordance with approved manuals and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
  • Utilize standard repair station equipment and tools to perform maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Process necessary paperwork promptly to ensure proper documentation and traceability of work performed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clarity and quality in all tasks.

What's Needed?

  • At least 5-7 years of bench experience in disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing of aircraft components.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or electro-mechanical aircraft components; A&P license desired but not required, with the ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead others when necessary.
  • Own hand tools required for the position.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces, and perform bending and overhead lifting tasks.
