About the position: Automotive supplier in the Vance, AL area seeking qualified Forklift Operators. These are full-time positions with availability on multiple shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Safe and effective operation of a forklift in all areas including shipping and receiving, sort line and inventorying materials.
• Comply with all company policies and government safety procedures and regulations.
• Complete the necessary paperwork related to shipping and receiving, production, etc.
• Maintain production standards and achieve established production goals.
• Follow the preventative maintenance program for all equipment including completing all supporting documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned in response to changing operating conditions and plant priorities.

Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent.
• Certified Forklift Operator. (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience
• Must be able to badge at Mercedes Plant
• Attention to detail / Quality Assurance
• Ability to work the full scheduled shift and required overtime.
• Previous verifiable forklift experience in a distribution setting.
• Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs on a consistent basis.
