The Cooke County Treasurer's Office is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for taking payments from customers, preparing and making deposits, and completing various light office duties. We're looking for someone with excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle money accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Accept and process payments.

  • Prepare daily bank deposits.

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain transaction records.

  • Assist customers in person, by phone, and via email in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Complete general office duties such as filing, scanning, and copying.

  • Follow office procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience in customer service and handling money preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

  • Strong organizational and data entry skills.

  • Friendly, professional, and dependable.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Schedule:

  • Part-time hours are 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
