Distribution Associate

Assist Material Handlers in all aspects of receipt, handling, storage and documentation for raw materials, components, supplies and finished products as well as operate material handling equipment including fork trucks, pallet jacks, etc.

Shift: 2nd: 3pm-11:30pm (Mon-Fri) 5x8 hour shifts

Duties:

• Assist Material Specialists on all aspects of receipt, handling, storage and documentation for raw materials, components, supplies and finished products as well as operate material handling equipment including fork trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
• Responsible for performing all activities per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain required technical training on SOPs and certifications (ie. cGMP, HAZMAT, Forklift Training, etc.)
• Responsible for Warehouse and Loading Dock cleaning duties including but not limited to: sweeping the warehouse and bulk storage, use of floor scrubber to clean the floors, general cleaning and dusting of warehouse walls, door panels, etc. and transport trash to disposal areas

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience, including prior experience in biologics/pharmaceutical manufacturing under cGMP
• Experience with forklift operation, certification preferred
• Experience with SAP computer system for tracking inventory preferred
