Class A CDL - OTR LONG HAUL Driver $$$$SIGN ON BONUS$$$

We are seeking Class A CDL OTRLONG HAUL Company Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds up to 80,000Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Responsibilities:

• Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned
• Collects pickup and delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes
• Maintains logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
• Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic, violations, or damage to the vehicles
• Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, load locks, or any other devices needed to properly secure cargo
• Confirm piece/pallet/po count are accurate prior to signing for cargo
• Drives trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations
• Drives trucks with capacities greater than three tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver dry and refrigerated food products
• Pre-Cool reefer to proper temperature prior to loading
• Monitor temperature of refrigerated commodities while load is in transit
• Obtains receipts or signatures for delivered goods as well as confirm all bill of ladings are in hand prior to departing receiver
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck/trailer before and after trip
• Performs basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs
• Checks condition of trailer after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage
• Couples or uncouples trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth-wheel locks
• Cranks trailer landing gear up or down to safely secure trailer/vehicle
• Reads and interprets maps to determine vehicle routes
• Possible assist load/unload trucks with a pallet jack
• Remove debris from trailer, sweep trailer, trailer washout

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields. 2 Years minimum experience as a truck driver
• Class A Commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Education: Successful completion of professional truck driving school
• Ability to handle physical workload
