Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with welding experience to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure maximum production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and be comfortable performing welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding for equipment repairs and fabrication projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Replace bearings, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, belts, chains, and other mechanical components.
- Install, modify, and maintain production equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Assist with facility maintenance and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Mechanic.
- Welding experience required (MIG preferred; TIG and Stick are a plus).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or production facility maintenance experience.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Industrial electrical experience (480V/3-phase) is preferred.
- HVAC or fabrication experience is a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Steel-toe boots required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
