About the Role:
Finley Custom Design LLC is looking for talented Carpenters and Apprentice Carpenters to join their growing team in Kirkwood, MO! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting your craft, this is a fantastic opportunity to build beautiful, high-quality custom work alongside a skilled team that takes pride in every project.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials for custom builds
- Install cabinetry, trim, molding, doors, and other finish carpentry elements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to spec
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
- Apprentices will support journeyman carpenters and develop hands-on skills on the job
Requirements:
- Experience in carpentry, finish work, or residential remodel work (apprentices welcome)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed project plans
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and working on-site
- Valid driver's license
