Shipping and Receiving Associate/ FINAL INSPECTION

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately unload, sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders according to company and customer requirements.
• Operate a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and routine inventory audits.
• Use RF scanners, warehouse management systems, and shipping software to track inventory and shipments.
• Enter shipping and receiving information into company databases and inventory systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Current forklift certification is required.
• Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Experience using RF scanners, shipping software, and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and inventory accuracy.
