Responsibilities or job duties:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Process outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are accurate and shipped on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory variances.
• Monitor shipping schedules and coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Analyze shipping, receiving, and inventory data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports on shipping performance, inventory accuracy, and logistics costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations.
• Support inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce costs, improve accuracy, and increase productivity.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma/GED
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
