Packaging Clerk

Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique agency located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking a Packaging Clerk/Cleanroom Technician for a precision cleaning company in Irwindale.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

· Work in a class 10,000 cleanroom inspecting and packaging parts according to customer specifications.

· Identify and report any defects or non-conforming issues (scratches, dents, etc.).

· Precision clean parts per spec and traveler instructions.

· Collaborate with the team to address any quality assurance issues.

· Inspect finished and packaged products for foreign object debris (FOD).

· Package product and review labels for accuracy.

· Wear personal protective equipment required to perform job duties.

· Keep workstation and equipment/tools clean.

· Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

· High school diploma required.

· Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment highly preferred.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Proficient computer and data entry skills.

· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

· Great written and verbal communication skills.

DRESS CODE:

**No outside debris is allowed in the cleanroom**

· Jeans (no ripped or distressed jeans allowed), slip resistant shoes, and an appropriate shirt/top.

· No sandals or open-toed shoes allowed.

· No makeup, perfumes/colognes, hair products, scented lotions, etc. allowed.

· Nails must be short enough to not puncture gloves.

· Hair must be in a ponytail or bun.

· Leggings are allowed on Friday’s if they are not see-through.

Position: Temp-to-Hire

Shift: Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 3:30pm

Salary: $18/hour
