Lead Warehouse Associate – Food Distribution (Southborough, MA)

Bay State Deli Provisions is a family-owned Massachusetts distributor of premium Boar's Head products and other specialty food brands. For over 20 years, we've built our reputation on exceptional customer service, quality products, and a hardworking team.

We're looking for a dependable Lead Warehouse Associate to help lead the daily operations of our Southborough warehouse. This is a hands-on role where you'll work alongside the team to ensure every customer order is picked accurately, loaded efficiently, and delivered on time.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Verify customer orders using our warehouse management system
• Pick, weigh, label, and prepare customer orders for delivery
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments
• Load delivery trucks safely and efficiently
• Maintain inventory using FIFO and food safety standards
• Inspect products for quality before shipment
• Help maintain a clean, organized warehouse, trucks, and equipment
• Work closely with the owner and sales team to coordinate daily operations
• Lead by example and jump in wherever needed to keep the warehouse running smoothly

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience (food distribution or refrigerated warehouse experience preferred)
• Comfortable using computers and warehouse software
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a refrigerated warehouse
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Experience with Boar's Head products, deli operations, or perishable food distribution is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Benefits

• Full-time, Monday–Thursday with occasional Friday hours
• $25–30/hour, based on experience
