SKILLED JOURNEYMAN CARPENTER (LEAD) | $30–$38/HR | DAY SHIFT | LAKE OSWEGO, OR
A well-established residential construction company based in Lake Oswego is seeking an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a skilled, lead-level carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and is ready to oversee projects on high-end custom residential homes. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Lead and oversee daily carpentry work on high-end custom residential construction projects
- Perform advanced rough and finish carpentry
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Coordinate work with crew members, subcontractors, and supervisors
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Install framing, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other finish materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Train and mentor less experienced carpenters as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and job site guidelines

REQUIREMENTS:
- Journeyman-level carpentry experience is required
- Previous experience leading crews or serving as a lead carpenter
- Experience working on high-end custom residential homes
- Valid driver's license is required
- Reliable transportation is required
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and residential construction methods
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
