Lead Bartender

The Lead Bartender plays a crucial role in managing a small bar team of 1-3 bartenders, ensuring excellent drink preparation, customer service, and efficient bar operations during regular evening and weekend shifts. Reporting to the Front of the House Manager, this role combines hands-on bartending expertise with leadership responsibilities to maintain a smooth and enjoyable bar environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve drinks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Oversee inventory control and ensure adequate stock levels
• Supervise and support bar staff to optimize performance
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patron experience
• Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
• Train new bartenders and facilitate ongoing staff development
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of bartending experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• TIPS certification and Alcohol Server Permit
• Strong mixology skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Experience with inventory management and cash handling
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
