- Conduct product demonstrations and interactive activities to showcase museum offerings and special events
- Collect visitor data through surveys or digital tools to support marketing strategies and improve visitor engagement
- Manage social media platforms by posting updates, sharing event highlights, and responding to online inquiries
- Assist in event marketing efforts by promoting upcoming exhibitions or programs through on-site interactions and digital channels
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, handling concerns, and ensuring visitor satisfaction
- Support sales initiatives by promoting memberships, merchandise, or special tickets while handling sales objections professionally
Skills
- Previous food service experience is a plus for managing concessions or snack stations during events
- Strong data collection skills to accurately record visitor feedback and engagement metrics
- Proficiency in social media management tools and content creation for digital outreach
- Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse audiences are highly desirable
- Experience in event marketing or public speaking to promote museum programs confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to connect with visitors and team members alike
- Technical proficiency with digital devices, social media platforms, and basic marketing tools
