Shipping Clerk

IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desire to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced Shipping Specialist for a full-service logistics provider, specializing in warehousing, fulfillment, kitting, assembly, and supply chain solutions located in San Leandro, CA.

Job Description:
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist's core responsibility is to execute daily outbound and inbound parcel shipments. Secondary responsibilities include supporting inbound and outbound LTL and FTL dock traffic when requested or needed. Forklift and warehouse equipment use will be required; training will be provided.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execute daily outbound parcel shipments using UPS and FedEx systems for customer accounts
• Receive parcel deliveries, ensuring shipments are properly logged, communicated, and promptly staged in assigned areas
• Assemble kits from corrugated and foam components as trained and directed
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Execute and lead warehouse projects as assigned
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Support inbound and outbound LTL and FTL dock operations as needed

Skills Required:

• Keyboarding and PC literate
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and learn processes
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the day

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Experience using UPS and FedEx computerized shipping systems

Compensation: $21.00/hour
