Job Description
This role involves performing warehouse labor to support the preparation, loading, and unloading of trucks and trailers for commercial and industrial construction projects throughout West Michigan. You will handle materials associated with mobile trailers, maintain organized inventory, use basic computer skills, and assist in installing furnishings and equipment into trailers prior to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently using appropriate material handling methods and equipment.
- Store incoming materials in the proper warehouse sections and ensure items are organized and easy to locate.
- Handle and move chairs, tables, furniture, kitchen materials, and other items associated with mobile trailers for a large music festival.
- Install and arrange materials inside mobile trailers to ensure they are fully furnished and ready for delivery.
- Perform general warehouse labor, including lifting, carrying, stacking, and organizing materials as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling tools to move items throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory by counting, tracking, and recording materials in designated locations.
- Use basic computer skills to support inventory tracking and documentation as required.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while loading, unloading, and handling materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and ensure trailers are prepared on schedule.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience performing general labor in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Hands-on experience with material handling, including lifting, moving, and organizing items.
- Hi-lo (forklift) experience preferred.
- Ability to load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Basic inventory skills, including counting and tracking materials.
- Comfort using pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
- Basic computer skills to assist with inventory and documentation tasks.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.

Work Environment
The position is full-time on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work takes place in a warehouse setting focused on preparing mobile trailers for construction projects. You will regularly handle chairs, tables, furniture, kitchen materials, and other event-related items. The environment involves frequent lifting, moving, and organizing materials, as well as loading and unloading trucks and trailers. Pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment are used, and hi-lo (forklift) operation may be involved if qualified.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
