Customer Service Representative

Our client in the Pittsfield, Massachusetts area is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a professional with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for supporting customers by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive service experience. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable managing a high volume of interactions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and/or chat
• Provide accurate information regarding products, services, account details, or order status
• Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Document customer interactions and update records in the system
• Process orders, returns, or service requests as needed
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality
• Support additional administrative or service-related tasks as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ years of customer service, call center, or administrative support experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer service or CRM systems
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
