As an Agricultural Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of grain dryer systems and associated equipment. Your expertise will help maintain and improve agricultural operations by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on grain dryer systems and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime during critical harvest periods.
- Conduct testing and calibration of equipment to ensure safety and efficiency standards are met.
- Document service activities, repairs, and maintenance performed on each unit.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new grain drying systems as needed.
- Collaborate with farm operators and management to schedule service visits and provide technical support.
- Mechanical skills.
- Service and troubleshooting expertise.
- Electrical knowledge, including proficiency in using ohmmeters for circuit testing.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, motors, sensors, and control panels.
- Prior experience working with grain drying systems or related agricultural machinery is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple service calls efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license required; willingness to travel to various locations as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
