Maintenance Technician - $30/hr

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of machinery including presses, robotics, injection, pneumatics, and hydraulics. You will work with 3-phase motors and electricity up to 220v, and troubleshoot PLCs, particularly Allen Bradley PLCs. This role involves both mechanical and facilities maintenance tasks, including welding as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on various machinery such as presses, robotics, and injection systems.
• Work with 3-phase motors, electricity up to 220v, and some 24V sensors.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults, including PLC I/O reading and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Change motors, pumps, and gears, and work with secondary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair robots, and perform welding as needed.
• Conduct both machine and facilities maintenance as required.

Essential Skills

• At least 2-3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Hydraulic troubleshooting expertise is a must.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, 3-phase, AC/DC motors, 24v sensors, and 480v.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills for documenting work orders.
• Possession of own tools and toolbox.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, well-lit industrial facility on a 6-month contract basis with options for extension. The work environment is supportive and collaborative, with shifts available on 1st (6a-2p), 2nd (2p-10p), and 3rd (10p-6a) with occasional weekend overtime. We manufacture automotive interiors and carpeting primarily for Ford, with recent expansions to Honda and Stellantis.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fostoria, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
