Schedule: On-Site | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

As the first point of contact for our patients, referral sources, and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a positive patient experience. This position is responsible for managing appointment scheduling, handling incoming calls, coordinating patient referrals, and ensuring timely communication between patients, providers, and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a courteous, professional, and compassionate manner.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Receive, document, and relay messages accurately to appropriate staff members.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, referral sources, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist patients with general questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments to support efficient patient care and office operations.
- Process and track patient referrals as needed.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare scheduling, patient referrals, reception, or customer service preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems, electronic medical records (EMR), and standard office equipment.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
