Job Description
Pay Rate: $20.35/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
Position OverviewThe Warehouse Worker is responsible for supporting either the Receiving or Shipping department in a large warehouse environment. This role involves handling packages of various sizes and weights, ensuring shipments are unloaded, processed, and loaded accurately and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Unload incoming shipments from tractor trailers onto conveyor belts in the Receiving department.
- Load packages into outbound tractor trailers in the Shipping department.
- Stack and secure packages safely, up to 6 feet high.
- Ensure packages are properly positioned to prevent shifting during transit.
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Picking, packing, and inventory management experience.
- Ability to use RF scanners.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Previous experience in a large warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working in cooler temperatures and inside trailers.
- Large warehouse setting.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Work performed inside trailers, where temperatures can be cold at times.
- Physically active role requiring consistent movement throughout the shift.
