Job Description
Are you a skilled Tool & Die Maker who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and problem-solving? We're looking for a hands-on manufacturing professional to join our team and play a critical role in designing, building, repairing, and maintaining the tools that keep production running at its best.
In this role, you'll work with advanced CNC equipment, manual machining tools, and precision measurement systems to create and maintain high-quality dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and tooling components. What You'll Do- Design, build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures that support manufacturing operations.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture high-precision tooling components.
- Utilize manual mills, lathes, grinders, and other machining equipment to fabricate and modify parts.
- Perform die maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.
- Hand-fit and assemble tooling components to exact specifications and tight tolerances.
- Conduct precision grinding and finishing operations to achieve superior quality and performance.
- Diagnose tooling issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Perform welding repairs and modifications when needed.
- Inspect finished tools and dies to ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards.
- Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to enhance tooling performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience as a Tool & Die Maker in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment.
- Skilled in manual machining, including mills, lathes, and precision grinders.
- Experience repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production dies and tooling.
- Strong understanding of tooling design, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Experience with welding and tool repair techniques.
- Knowledge of mold making, fixture design, or advanced tooling applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
