Join a growing production team in Brunswick, Maine as a Production Assembler, where you will complete start-to-finish assembly of products while ensuring quality through inspection and accurate documentation. You will work with basic hand tools and measuring equipment in a large, open manufacturing environment that offers strong culture, growth opportunities, and supportive training on your assigned shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform start-to-finish assembly of products according to established procedures and work instructions.
- Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Document finished work clearly and accurately, including any required production or quality records.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and materials.
- Work collaboratively with team members and support a team-first environment on the production floor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the assembly department and warehouse.
- Adapt to different tasks as needed, supporting cross-training and assisting in related production activities.
- At least 6 months of previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work confidently with tools and mechanical components.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
- Team-first mentality with a positive attitude and strong reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.
- Willingness to work assigned shift hours, including training on a split schedule and transitioning to full shift times.
- Attention to detail for accurate inspection and documentation of completed work.
- Previous experience in a general labor, mechanical, or production environment is a plus.
- Comfort working in a large open warehouse, assembly department, or machine shop setting.
- Interest in cross-training and taking on new responsibilities over time.
- Openness to feedback and participation in performance reviews for ongoing development.

Work Environment
This role is based in a large, open warehouse environment that includes an assembly department and machine shop, featuring windows and plenty of natural light. For 2nd shift, you will train on a 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. schedule for approximately 4 to 8 weeks before transitioning to a full-time 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. schedule. The facility is not temperature controlled, but large garage bays and high-capacity fans help keep the space cooler in the summer. Wired headphones are allowed during the shift, providing flexibility in how you manage your workday. Steel or composite toe shoes are required, and safety glasses are provided to support a safe and compliant work environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
