Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Description
The Production Assembler assembles fabricated parts and mechanisms using hand tools to produce glass doors and frames for commercial refrigeration units, ensuring all finished products meet established production specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assemble glass doors and frames for commercial refrigeration units using hand tools.
- Follow blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications to complete assemblies accurately.
- Use a tape measure to take precise measurements and verify component dimensions.
- Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and established specifications.
- Handle and position parts and mechanisms safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
- Perform general labor tasks related to the assembly line, including staging materials and organizing work areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and schedules.
- Lift and move materials and finished products, with assistance, throughout the workday.
- Adhere to all safety procedures while operating hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs with assistance throughout the workday (approximately 7–8 hours within a 10-hour shift).
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
- Experience using hand tools in a production or mechanical assembly environment.
- Ability to work effectively on an assembly line and follow established processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or general labor in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with assembling fabricated parts and mechanisms for industrial or commercial products.
- Comfort working with glass, metal, and other materials.
- Ability to contribute positively to a small team atmosphere and support coworkers.

Work Environment
The work environment is non–temperature controlled, quiet, clean, organized, and well lit. Team members work on an assembly line using hand tools and measuring devices such as tape measures. Shifts are typically 10 hours in length, and the role involves standing, moving, and lifting materials and products throughout the day.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
