MRI Technologist
Location: Bronx, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $55.00–$60.00/hour
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations. The ideal candidate will operate MRI equipment, assist with imaging procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and collaborate with the radiology team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI examinations using high-field MRI equipment.
- Screen patients and ensure compliance with MRI safety protocols.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Evaluate image quality and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist radiologists during imaging procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related field.
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license.
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist or X-Ray/MRI Technologist preferred.
- Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
