Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

Job Type: Part-Time (Opportunity to Transition to Full-Time)

Location: Whatcom County, Washington (Primarily Blaine, Bellingham, Lynden, and surrounding areas)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to provide individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role primarily involves delivering in-home ABA services while collaborating with families and other professionals to improve behavioral outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans using ABA principles.

  • Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret client data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify treatment plans as needed.

  • Provide supervision, coaching, and training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and ABA staff, as applicable.

  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

  • Provide caregiver education and support to encourage skill generalization across environments.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with HIPAA and payer requirements.

  • Participate in intake evaluations, treatment planning meetings, and interdisciplinary team discussions.

  • Ensure services are delivered ethically and in accordance with BACB standards and Washington State regulations.

  • Travel within Whatcom County to provide home-based services.

  • Contribute to the growth and success of a collaborative ABA practice through professionalism and high-quality clinical care.

Education, Licensure, and Experience

  • Current BCBA or BCaBA certification.

  • Washington State license or eligibility to obtain licensure.

  • Ability to meet insurance payer credentialing requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based interventions.

  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently in home-based settings.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  • Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or clinical staff.

  • Familiarity with EMR systems and electronic data collection platforms.

  • Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • New graduates with the required certification and Washington credential are encouraged to apply.

Schedule: Monday-Friday.
