Job Title: Press Service

Job Description

Join our team as a Press Service professional where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for handling materials, operating equipment safely, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.

Shift: 11pm-7:30am Sun-Thu

Pay: 21-23/hr

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, ensuring proper charging and maintenance of propane/batteries.
  • Complete the Material Handler Forklift Training Checklist.
  • Safely operate stretch wrappers and utilize the warehouse management system for inventory checks.
  • Accurately complete manufacturing paperwork documentation procedures for warehouse material movement.
  • Collaborate with material handlers, production operators, and manufacturing assistants to service production areas.
  • Assist less experienced material handlers as needed.
  • Maintain an accurate and orderly warehouse inventory by correctly placing manufacturing products.
  • Ensure safety compliance for self and co-workers, adhering to all safety and quality policies/procedures.
  • Promote cleanliness and orderliness in work areas, supporting company standards like AIB/5S.
  • Support and engage in continuous improvement programs such as LEAN, 5S, and Six Sigma.
  • Understand customer production requirements and strive to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Stop any manufacturing process not meeting food safety or customer quality production requirements.
  • Handle hazardous and chemical waste according to company procedures and training.
  • Accumulate, mark, containerize, handle, store, ship, and prepare records for hazardous and non-hazardous chemical waste compliance.

Essential Skills

  • Forklift operation and material handling experience.
  • Understanding of inventory management.
  • Ability to complete documentation accurately.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Zero to two years of experience required.
  • Forklift license required, with on-site training and certification available.

Work Environment

This role involves occasional physical effort such as continuous or prolonged standing and bending. Expect constant exposure to conditions like dust, noise, fumes, weather, poor lighting, and heavy machinery/equipment (forklift).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.22 - $22.22/hr.
