Job Description
Job Title: Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray / CT)
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) equipment. The technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images, assist in multiple imaging modalities, ensure patient safety and comfort, operate imaging equipment efficiently, and support the medical imaging department in delivering exceptional patient care.
Requirements:Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred
Master's Degree preferred
ARRT (Radiography) certification required
State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
Certification in additional imaging modalities (CT, MRI, Mammography, or Sonography) preferred
Previous multi-modality imaging experience preferred
Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging principles, patient care, and radiation safety
Perform diagnostic X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Perform imaging procedures across multiple modalities as assigned
Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper identification
Administer and monitor contrast media in accordance with established protocols, when applicable
Transport and assist patients safely between imaging areas and patient care units
Perform mobile radiographic examinations as needed
Conduct routine equipment quality checks and report equipment issues promptly
Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation in electronic medical record systems
Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to provide quality patient care
