Full-Time Lead Therapist / OTR

Location: Regal Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation – Flushing, NY

We are seeking an experienced Lead Therapist / Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) to join our team at Regal Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation. This is a full-time leadership role offering competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Rehab Director in overseeing the rehab department, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as therapy aides.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to therapy staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Assist staff in addressing patient needs, problem-solving, and modifying treatment programs when necessary.

• Ensure efficient department operations in compliance with facility policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with the Rehab Director on scheduling, staffing needs, and performance monitoring.

• Ensure all therapy staff meet compliance regulations and documentation standards.

• Maintain a partial clinical caseload as assigned by the Rehab Director.

Requirements:

• Current New York Occupational Therapy license

• Management or leadership experience preferred

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (preferred)
