Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify residents' communication and swallowing needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified deficits

• Provide speech and language therapy services, including cognitive-communication therapy, speech therapy, and swallowing therapy

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident assessments, treatment plans, and progress

• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss resident care and progress

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech language pathology
