Speech Therapist

WELLBOUND Certified Home Health Agency is actively seeking compassionate and skilled Speech Therapists to provide in-home services to pediatric and adult clients with special needs. Services are delivered across all five boroughs of New York City and Long Island. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving communication, language development, and overall quality of life in a home-based setting.

Location: All 5 boroughs and Long Island

Compensation: $100.00 per visit Job Type: Fee-for-Service (FFS)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult clients with special needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans addressing expressive and receptive language disorders to maximize functional outcomes.

• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Educate and train caregivers (including Home Health Aides) to promote skill carryover and continuity of care.

• Complete clinical documentation accurately, professionally, and within required timeframes.

• Travel to multiple patient locations within the assigned service area.

Requirements

Valid New York State Speech Therapy License (required).

Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to establish rapport with patients while demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining high-quality care.
